Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you start.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser using your device's own processing power. Your photo is never sent to our servers or stored anywhere.

What image formats can I upload?

JPG, PNG, and WebP are all supported.

Do I need an account to use this tool?

No. The LinkedIn Image Resizer is free to use without signing in. If you're signed in to PostPlanIt, you'll also find it under Tools in the sidebar.

Will cropping reduce my image quality?

The tool exports at the exact pixel dimensions for each format at high JPEG quality. If your original photo is smaller than the target size, it will be upscaled slightly to fit, which can soften fine detail.

Can I resize more than one image?

Yes. Click Remove image after downloading, then upload your next photo. There's no limit on how many images you can process.

Which format should I use for a regular LinkedIn post?

Post Image (1200×628) is the standard size for shared posts and link previews. Banner Image (1584×396) is for your profile banner, and Profile Picture (400×400) or Company Logo (300×300) are for your avatar and organization page.
